Community Involvement

Our team is supportive of many different causes in the Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest. We feel blessed by our careers, families and friends and are thankful for the opportunity to support many non-profit organizations in our community.

Baird Gives Back Week

About Baird Gives Back Week

Held annually since 2009, Baird Gives Back Week provides associates with opportunities to give back to the communities we call home. This special week is an annual Baird sponsored firm wide effort to give back to the communities that Baird is privileged to work within. Baird participants throughout the country unite to organize events and drives to benefit local charities and organizations.

Baird Gives Back Week Goals:

• To have all the Bellevue Branch associates participate in the weeks events
• Promote a Team atmosphere within the branch, and within the Baird community
• Give back to the community we work and live in
• To help people that are currently not as fortunate as we are
• To have fun

The 2018 Baird Foundation Annual Report "IMAGINE PARTNERING FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE" highlights Baird’s broad reaching support of our communities, providing more than $3.1 million to nonprofit organizations last year.

Bellevue Branch Gives Back – 2019

In 2019 Bellevue associates volunteered their time to the Emergency Feeding Program of Renton packing lunches and snack packs for families in need. The Emergency Feeding Program’s mission and vision is to provide a nutritional response to people in need of immediate food assistance so no one will go hungry.

Our office also hosted a warm sock drive for Mary’s Place, an organization that provides a safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journeys out of homelessness. Hundreds of socks were collected over a two month period.

Bellevue associates supported the Jubilee Ranch Heart & Home Thrift Store, a Jubilee REACH (www.jubileereach.org) a non-profit serving those in need around Bellevue. By collecting donations of new and like new furniture and household items and volunteering our time in the store, we helped serve families in need on the Eastside by providing access to assistance programs and services focused on growing community and empowering our youth.
